Petitioner herein alleging that, in connection with property dispute, the Inspector of Sankarapuram Police Station, Kallakurichi is frequently calling them for enquiry and therefore, seeks protection from harassment. 1/4

2. The reading of the representation and the petition indicates that, there is a property dispute between the complainant Shankar and the petitioner herein. If any complaint or FIR is pending before the respondent police, enquiry can be conducted only in the manner known to law and not otherwise. If at all the presence of the petitioner is required for any enquiry, shall cause summons to appear on a particular date and on appearance, respondent police shall conduct enquiry in the manner known to law.

3. With the above observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
