[Order of the Court is made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The Suo-motu contempt proceedings are initiated pursuant to the orders of this Court dated 30.11.2022 made in H.C.P.No.2134 of 2022.
2. The contempt proceedings are initiated based on the adjudication occurred before the Additional Mahila Court [Magisterial Level], Coimbatore in C.C.No.27 of 2014 on 14.03.2022.
3. The contemnor made certain harsh statements against the learned Judge and the learned Judge recorded the statements in the proceedings. The said proceedings provided cause for instituting Suomotu contempt proceedings from the hands of this Court.
4. The contemnor would submit that he realized the mistakes and filed an affidavit of undertaking, stating that he will not indulge in any such activities in future and further tendered an unconditional apology. Further, he has stated in the affidavit that he will be careful in future.
5. The sworn affidavit filed by the contemnor stands accepted and the contemnor is expected to be careful, while representing his case before the Courts. A Lawyer cannot step into the shoes of the litigants. The duty of a lawyer is to represent his case in the manner known to law.
6. Since the contemnor realized his mistakes, we are not inclined to continue the contempt proceedings.
7. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed. No costs. [S.M.S., J.] [M.J.R., J.] 07.01.2025 kak Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking Order/Non-Speaking order
