ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction directing the respondents to transfer Mythili, W/o.Late.Saravanan, detenu under Act 14/1982 with DPTA No.2562 from Special Prison for Women, Vellore to Prison for Women, Coimbatore, based on the representation dated 11.01.2017 of the petitioner.

The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to transfer from Special Prison for Women, Vellore to Prison for Women, Coimbatore, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 11.01.2017. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so adviced.

With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.No.3815 of 2017 is closed.
