2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the 5th respondent was promoted to the post of PG Assistant (English) in the fourth respondent School. However, the petitioner filed an appeal against the said order and it is pending on the file of the first respondent. On the said appeal, the third respondent also submitted a report dated 27.06.2014 to the first respondent.

4. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 29.09.2013 against the order of promotion of the fifth respondent, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5 herein and on the report submitted by the third respondent, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
