ORDER
The grievance of the petitioners in this writ petition is that they have not been regularised into service despite completion of ten years as sanitary workers. The petitioners have given a representation on
14.11.2022 to the respondents requesting them to regularise their services. Since the representation has not been considered till date, they have filed this writ petition.

Heard Mr.S.Selva Thirumurugan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.R.U.Dinesh Rajkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 3.
No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioners' representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter and it is for the respondents to consider the petitioners' request on merits and in accordance with law.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation dated 14.11.2022 seeking for regularisation of their services as sanitary workers within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
