Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the First Respondent /District Collector, Erode to initiate the Revenue Recovery Proceedings against the Third Respondent in regard to the realization of the amount awarded in W.C. 211 of 2009 as per the award dated 07.10.2014 as per the request made by the Second Respondent by means of proceedings Lr. No. M3/3932/2015 dated 18.01.2016.

Though the matter has been posted under the caption 'for dismissal', there was no representation for the Petitioner when the matter was called at 10.35 a.m. today, apart from the earlier hearing on 08.02.2022.

However, it has been brought to notice by Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the Third Respondent has deposited the entire amount due to the Petitioners before the Second Respondent and she has filed a memo to that effect, which is placed on record. Nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition and if the Petitioners are otherwise eligible, they are not precluded from applying for withdrawal of their respective amounts due to them from the Second Respondent following the prescribed proceeding in accordance with law.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid clarification. No costs.
