Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records culminated in the 2nd respondent's Prospectus for admission to M.B.B.S./B.D.S. Degree Courses 2022-2023, dated nil concerned to the petitioner herein, quash the same as illegal and consequently, direct the respondents to offer one M.B.B.S seat for 2022-2023 Session under Special Category (Sports quota) to the petitioner.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the prospectus for admission to M.B.B.S/B.D.S degree courses for the year 2022-2023, to quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to offer one seat in the M.B.B.S course for the year 20222023 under Special Category (Sports Quota) to the petitioner.

Firstly, it can be seen that not only the last date for admission for the said Academic Year 2022-2023 is over, the Academic Year itself has come to an end and now, we are in the year 2025 and the petitioner cannot now be granted the medical seat as prayed for. Secondly, when the petitioner's marks have been calculated as per the prospectus, the petitioner belatedly challenges the prospectus. If, according to the petitioner, the prospectus does not properly fix the criteria for granting of marks in the Special Category, the petitioner ought to have challenged the same at the outset and after participating in the selection, merely because the petitioner's cut-off did not come within the limit, she cannot turn around and challenge the prospectus. The prospectus is framed and on that basis, hundreds of seats are allotted and all the students are admitted and are now undergoing the course and now, they will be in the third year. point of time, neither the prospectus can be quashed nor the petitioner can be granted admission.

3. Accordingly, finding no merits, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
