ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the 2nd to 4th respondents to dispose of the application E-Challan No.2024/0123/33/003705 filed by the petitioner dated 04.10.2024 by survey the petitioner land and measure his property and fix boundaries in Survey No.48/1, in Kottaiyur Village, in Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi District.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. Considering the request of the Petitioner and also the fact that the Petitioner has made an application as early as on 04.10.2024, a mandamus is issued to the Respondents to dispose of the Petitioner's application dated 04.10.2024 for conducting survey and fixing boundaries in the petition mentioned property. The Petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to Page No. 2 of 4

show their title to the property and the Respondents shall, after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners and interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and subdividing the property or rejecting the request. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
