Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2 nd and 3 rd respondents to conduct an enquiry and to complete the investigation based on the petitioner's complaint dated 31.07.2024 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2 nd and 3 rd respondents to conduct enquiry and to complete the investigation based on the petitioner's complaint dated 31.07.2024 within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he had lodged a complaint before the st respondent on 31.07.2024 against the private respondents for demanding exorbitant interest and also for cheating the petitioner and the same was also forwarded to the 2 nd and 3 rd respondents. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, the present petition is filed. 2/5

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has received summons to appear before the respondent police for enquiry.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and also perused the materials available on record.

5. Since no adverse order is being passed, notice to the respondents 4 to 8 is dispensed with.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 3 rd respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 31.07.2024 in accordance with law.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
