Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to take action to remove the flagpole erected on the Kallakurichi - Tiruvannamalai National Highway, nearby the Alattur Village Administrative Office and Panchayat Union Middle School, comprised in S.No.528/1 by a political party, which is a public place permanently and further direct the respondents to put complete ban or erecting the flagpoles permanently in the above public place by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.10.2023. (Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.T.Dhanasekaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 7.

2. Learned State Government Pleader submits that the writ subject area would be inspected and if any such flagpole is found to be erected, the same would be removed.
