Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1st to 4th from taking any coercive action to dispossess or demolish the structure in S.Nos.22/41, 110/10, 110/12, 111/16, 111/12, 113/33 in Kelsiviri Villae, Marakanam Taluk, Villupuram District. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Petitioners apprehend that they may be dispossessed from their patta land without proper enquiry and without affording any opportunity of hearing.

2. Learned counsel for State submits that survey is being

conducted and if any encroachment is found, action would be initiated and petitioners would be given appropriate notice, as directed by this Court in W.P.No.18875 of 2024, as also as mandated under law.

3. Placing on record aforesaid statement, petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. WMP No.39180 of 2025 filed to permit petitioners to file a single writ petition is allowed, subject to payment of court-fee within two weeks. Other interim application is closed.
