ORDER

The petitioner is the mother of deceased Albert who was done to death by group of persons on 05.08.2023.

2. The investigation is pending in Cr.No.524 of 2023 on the file of Sunguvarchathiram Police Station, Kancheepuram. The petitioner being the mother of the deceased has given a representation to the respondent police seeking protection. Since certain un-identified persons threatening her on the instruction of one Suresh who is the prime accused in the murder case and presently detained in prison. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that on receipt of the complaint given by the petitioner on 26.10.2023, round a clock surveillance posted near the house of the petitioner and the police is ready to provide personal guard to the petitioner, if she is ready to pay the charges.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, this writ 2/4

petition is disposed of. This Court shall direct the respondent police to keep surveillance in the petitioner's premises herein and if charge is paid personal guard shall also be provided.
