PRAYER Directing the respondents herein more particularly the first respondent herein to pass final orders on the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner vide charge memo in 40791/A3/2022 dated 16.06.2021 and in the meanwhile direct the respondents to disburse all the terminal benefits to the petitioner including pension DCRG, commutation, Earned Leave to his credit, Unearned Leave surrender, General Provident Fund, Special Provident Fund and all other eligible terminal benefits.

ORDER
By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent herein to pass final orders on the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner and to disburse all the terminal benefits to the petitioner.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the year 1985 and subsequently, he was promoted to various
posts and at the time of retirement, he was working as Block Educational Officer. The petitioner's entire service was blemishless without any complaint. However, on 16.06.2022 a charge memo was issued to the petitioner alleging that he had recommended for approval of appointment of one R.Rajesh as Secondary Grade Teacher to a Government Aided School. Though the petitioner is not the appointing authority, he has been wrongly issued with the charge memo. The petitioner participated in the enquiry and also gave a detailed reply on 10.01.2024. However, the respondents till now have not taken any decision regarding the disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner. The petitioner on attaining the age of superannuation permitted to retire on 29.02.2024, but his terminal benefits have not been granted to him and hence, he made a representation dated 24.06.2024 to the respondents. The said representation has not been considered and hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents will consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.
5. Considering the above submissions, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
