The petitioner seeks for mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to disconnect the free agriculture electricity connection given to the 4th and 5th respondents by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.12.2016.

2. After notice, the matter is listed today for further hearing. The counter affidavit is filed by respondents 1 to 3, wherein it is stated that in pursuant to the complaint made by the petitioner, the third respondent made a surprise inspection on 23.01.2017 to the subject matter land and found no illegality in the service connection in No.791 and that the said service connection was found to be in use only for the agricultural purpose. Even though, it is stated so in the counter affidavit, it is admitted that no order is passed on the petitioner's representation and communicated the same to him. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass an order to the petitioner's representation and communicate the same to him within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
