O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present Writ Petition and the operation of interim stay granted on 15.11.2019, the petitioner had deceased and as such, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for consideration.

2. The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent also submits that on account of stay granted by this Court, the petitioner is retained, where he was working earlier and had deceased, while discharging his duties.

3. Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, since the petitioner by the present Writ Petition had assailed the action of the respondent, particularly, transferring him from the present place of posting and this Court having granted stay of the said proceedings and on account of death of the petitioner interregnum, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survives for consideration. Hence, this Writ Petition stands abated. 2/4

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed as infrucutous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
