ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition seeking to call for the records of the second respondent in its proceedings No.NIL, dated 23.10.2019 relating to the publication of the result for posts included in combined Civil Services Examination - II (Group - II Services) and quash the same in so far as it does not include the petitioner's candidature and consequently direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's main written examination answer sheet before this Court to ascertain the actual position with regard to the marks obtained to the petitioner.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste Community and completed her post graduation in M.Sc. (Bio Technology) with first class. As per the TNPSC notification No.15/2018 dated 10.08.2018 for Group II Services post, she applied and participated in the said examination. After completed the first stage, further she was selected for the second stage of written examination. While awaiting for the result of the third stage of oral test, on 23.10.2019, the TNPSC published their selection list without including the petitioner's roll number. According to her, she did the exam well, therefore, she made a representation dated 02.11.2019 to the respondents by highlighting the facts that she done her examination well, but, she was not selected for the third stage and also sought for producing her answer sheet to ascertain, how much of marks that she had obtained in the examination. Till date, which was not considered by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had obtained first class in post graduation. Though she selected for the second stage of written examination, her name was not included in the selection list for the third stage. Further, he prayed that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.11.2019 and pass appropriate orders.

4.Ms.Niraimathi, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has submitted that the respondents have considered the petitioner's representation and also forwarded the selection list to the Government. Now, they also agree to furnish the answer sheet to the petitioner for her perusal.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondents, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition and therefore, the same is closed. No costs.
