The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of investigation/enquiry.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that under the pretext of enquiry, the respondent Police are unnecessarily harassing the petitioner. 3.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by one Vijaya, the respondents issued summons to the petitioner only to produce the documents relevant to the case and if the documents are produced, the respondent will conduct enquiry and close the complaint as per law. 4.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent police on receipt of summons and produce all the documents for enquiry.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
