This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR registered for offence under Sections 288 and 338 IPC.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that an accident of damage of compound wall causing injury to the husband of the defacto complainant came to be registered in Crime No.501 of 2021 is under investigation. Now the petitioners and the defacto complainant had entered into compromise and seeks quash of the investigation. 3.

Considering the narration of the above facts, the petitioners are directed to appear before the Investigating Officer and report the compromise entered between them and seek for closure of the complaint. If the Investigating Officer satisfies that no other offence is made out, record the compromise and act in accordance with law and report about the conclusion of the investigation to the concerned Magistrate forthwith. 4.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of 29.11.2023 Index : Yes/No rpl 2/4
