The learned Presiding Officer by letter dated 12.03.2024 has requested further time to comply with the order dated 20.07.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.3881 of 2017 directing the Labour Court to provide an opportunity of hearing to the workmen and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2. I have gone through the letter submitted by the Presiding Officer and I am satisfied with the reasons stated for extension. Hence, time is extended by four (4) months to comply with the order of this Court as prayed by the Presiding Officer.
