The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) and 351 (2) of BNS, in Crime No.Not known of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submits that a complaint petition in C.S.R. No.301 of 2025 has been registered at the behest of a practising Advocate against this petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) further submits that the petition enquiry is pending and if the petitioner cooperates with the investigation, there is no need for any coercive steps.

4. Recording the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent police for enquiry on receipt of summons. If such cooperation is extended by the petitioner for the enquiry, no coercive action shall be taken against him. 01.09.2025 bsm To,
