The writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction directing the respondents to grant parole to the petitioner, now confined in Central Prison Puzhal, Chennai, for a period of 15 days to the petitioner for his Cardiac Surgery in a private hospital to his choice with police escort with the assistance of petitioner's wife A.Dhanalakshmi. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Public Prosecutor submitted that the prayer of the writ petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Public Prosecutor, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
