The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent police to comply with order of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Egmore, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.71463 of 2024 dated 30.12.2024.

2. The petitioner filed a complaint under Section 156(3) of CrPC on the file of the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. By order dated 30.12.2024, the learned Magistrate has forwarded the complaint to the SHO, D6 Anna Square Police Station and directed to conduct a preliminary enquiry into the allegations made in the complaint and upon such enquiry, if any cognisable offence is made out shall register a case and investigate the matter and file report in one month.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the order was passed on 30.12.2024, even thereafter, no report has been filed before the learned Magistrate, despite several reminders sent by the learned Magistrate.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that though there is some delay, enquiry is almost completed and report will be filed before the learned Magistrate or or before 10.10.2025.

5. Such view of the matter, the respondent police shall strictly 2/4

comply with the order of the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and file a report on or before 10.10.2025.
