ORDER

This civil revision petition is filed against the judgment and decree dated 16.09.2016 passed in IA.No.99 of 2015 in HMOP.No.70 of 2015 on the file of the Sub Court at Nagapattinam thereby allowing the petition for interim maintenance. 1/4

The petitioner filed petition for divorce on the ground of cruelty. While pending divorce petition, the respondent filed petition for interim maintenance. The court below ordered a sum of Rs.2,000/- as monthly maintenance payable by the petitioner till the disposal of the main divorce petition. A sum of Rs.2,000/- is very meagre and that too ordered for till the disposal of the divorce petition. Therefore, this Court finds no irregularity or infirmity in the order passed by the court below. 3.

Accordingly, this civil revision petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No order as to costs.
