O R D E R
Mrs.Indhubala, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. With consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey the land in Survey Nos.148/6B, and 148/3B, bearing Patta Nos.290 and 284 situated at Pethanayakkan Kuppam Village, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District, Tamilnadu-607 302 with the aid of 3rd respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the aforesaid property and he made representation to the respondents to survey his property on 21.06.2025 2/6
and he has also paid necessary fees. However, the petitioner's representation was not considered by the respondent till date, thus the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the respondent concerned would consider the petitioner's representation and carry out a survey and fix boundary stones at the subject property within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondent concerned to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.06.2025, carry out a survey, demarcate the property and thereafter fix boundary stones at the subject property, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving prior notice and reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties, including rival claimants, if any. The respondents are at liberty to seek 3/6
police protection, if need arises. No costs.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
