This petition has been filed seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to the 2nd & 3rd respondent in Crl.O.P.No.13573 of 2025 on the ground that, petitioner has suppressed Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

The learned counsel for the petitioner/ defacto complainant submitted that, at the time of filing the petition, bail petitioner omitted mentioned Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. He further submitted that, if the petitioner had mentioned the correct offence, the bail petitioner could not have granted bail.
3. The learned counsel for the respondent No.2 & 3 submitted that, after anticipatory bail was granted, petitioner filed amendment petition to include Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment and the same was ordered by this Court. Hence, pray for dismissal of this petition.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds that omission of Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment is only a clerical mistake and subsequently, the same was included vide amendment order, hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. 25.11.2025 sma 2/4
