O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 28.09.2018 made in W.P.No.22687 of 2004. By the said order, this Court has given a direction to the respondent to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 02.07.2004 within a time frame.

2. Today when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner Mr.Selvaraj submitted that, though belatedly, on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 01.06.2020 the appeal was disposed of and it was in fact rejected by the appellate

Cont.P.No.2038 of 2019 authority ie., the respondent. Hence, he submits that the petitioner wants to challenge the same by filing separate proceedings and therefore, recording the same, this contempt petition may be closed.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader has also endorsed the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and submits that, the orders of this Court has been complied with, though belatedly, on 01.06.2020.

4. Recording the said submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides, as the orders of this Court has been complied with, this Contempt Petition is closed.
