PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pass orders relieving the petitioners from the post of Assistant Surgeon coming under the Directorate of Medical and Rural Health Services to enable the petitioners to join the post of Senior Resident/Assistant Professor/Tutor in the Medical Colleges coming under Directorate of Medical Education and Research, in pursuant to the order of transfer issued by the 2nd respondent in Ref.No.0000033/E3/1/2024-Inter dated 09.05.2024 through inter-directorate transfer counseling conducted on 11.03.2024, with restoration of seniority in accordance with CML Seniority, forthwith, in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioners, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners would submit that the prayer sought for by the petitioners in the present writ petition has already been considered by the respondents and passed orders, vide order dated 23.12.2024. Hence the learned counsel made an endorsement to withdraw the writ petition.
