ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to update the petitioner's patta in online on the land record E-services in his name for the property in Old Survey No.198/1A1B Pt New Survey No.198/1A2A Pt and as per Town Survey the Survey Number for the property is 5/2 in Ward A, Block 11, Mittanamallee bearing Patta Number 1796 by considering his representation dated 13.05.2022.

2. In respect of the petitioner's property at Old Survey No.198/1A1B Pt New Survey No.198/1A2A Pt and as per Town Survey the Survey Number for the property is 5/2, patta has already been given in patta No.1796 by the Avadi Taluk Office i.e., first respondent and subsequently everything has been computerized, therefore, computer patta has to be issued and in order to get computer patta, the petitioner has given a representation on 13.05.2022 and in order to consider the same and to give on-line patta, the petitioner has moved the present writ 2/4

petition.

3. Heard Mr.K.Murugan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner dated 13.05.2022 would be considered and necessary orders to that effect would be passed by the respondents especially the first respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the first respondent Tahsildar to consider the application of the petitioner dated 13.05.2022 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
