ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.482 of 2018 from the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch - I, Chenni to some other competent agency.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. Today, when the petition came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that in respect of petition mentioned Crime number, the respondent police has completed the investigation and filed a final report before the Special Court for CCB cases on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

11.10.2019. Hence in view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition has now become infructuous. However, his submission reveals the fact that the final report filed by the respondent police has not yet been taken on file. Therefore, it is necessary to issue a suitable direction to the Presiding Officer, Special Court for CCB cases, Egmore to take the case on file and number the same if it is otherwise in order.

4. Accordingly, the Presiding Officer, Special Court for CCB cases, Egmore is directed to take the petition mentioned case on file, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. A Copy of order is directed to be communicated to the Presiding Officer, Special Court for CCB cases, Egmore. 6.With the aforesaid directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
