This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025.

2. This case arises out of matrimonial discord. The first accused are tried for the offences under Sections 498-A, 494 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code and the second accused are tried for the offences under Section Sections 294(b), 494 and 506(i) of the Indian Penal Code. Parties have resolved the conflict and have parted ways. Following the dictum of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in B.S.Joshi Vs. State of Haryana [(2003) 4 SCC 675], this is a fit case for exercise of the jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. In view of the extraordinary mode in which this designated bench conducts hybrid hearings, the filing of written affidavits/terms of compromise is dispensed with. 3. Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.12 of 2019 of Additional Mahila Court(In the cadre of Judicial Magistrate), Tiruvarur Taluk, Tiruvarur stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of. 23.09.2025 grs electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
