The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 498 (A), 294(b) of IPC in Cr.No.1 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are husband and wife and they got married in the year 2021 and out of their wedlock they are having one male child. Later the petitioner and his parents demand dowry of Rs.1 lakh and 5 sovereign of gold from the defacto complainant. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

dpq that the petitioner and his parents demanded dowry of Rs.1 lakh and 5 sovereign of gold from the defacto complainant. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
