Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 not to lay cement road in the petitioner's private property in S.No.394/5A1 at Panapakam Town, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2024.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 23.09.2024 not to lay cement road in the petitioner's private property in S.No.394/5A1 at Panapakkam Town, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents, as on date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2024 will be disposed of by the respondents 2 to 4 within a period of 8 weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents 2 to 4 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event, road was laid on the petitioner's property, the petitioner is entitled for compensation and the respondents are directed to process the same in accordance with due process of law.
