This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 5th respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 10.09.2019, wherein, the petitioner had sought for reconnection of the water line. 2.The case of the petitioner is that a repair work was undertaken by CMWSSB during September, 2018 and during that time, the sewage lines were damaged. A complaint was given and ultimately, the damaged sewage lines were repaired. The grievance of the petitioner is that, while conducting the repair work, the water line that was connected into the street from the nearby pump was disconnected. As a result of the same, the entire street was deprived of water connection and they had to take water from the adjacent street.

Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions. 4.Heard Ms.U.K.Kalaiarasi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Jothikumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.
5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 5th respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 10.09.2019. The 5th respondent shall immediately carry out the repair work and ensure that the water lines are reconnected at Venkatraman Street and Seenu Street.
