Mohsin Juzar v. The Inspector Of Police

2024-01-29Honourable Mr Justice C.V. Karthikeyan2 pages

Crl.O.P.No.27368 and 27370 of 2023 Crl.O.P.Nos.27368 and 27370 of 2023 and Crl.MP.No.19633 of 2023 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

A Coordinate Bench of this Court had granted to stay of further investigation in Cr.No.5 of 2023 and in Cr.No.19 of 2023 in relation to which the petitioners who are an accused has now sought anticipatory bail. Since the stay has been granted, the respondent will have to abide by the directions of that particular court before the proceeding with investigation. Keeping these anticipatory bail petitions pending would not be of any advantage to the petitioners.

2. Taking all the facts into consideration I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

3. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions seeking anticipatory bail stand dismissed with liberty to file fresh petitions whenever need arises. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Vv 29.01.2024 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
