O R D E R

[Made by S.VAIDYANATHAN, J.] This contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the orders passed in W.A.No.253 of 2022 dated 06.04.2022.

2. Pursuant to our order dated 31.01.2023, (1) Tmt.Kakarla Usha, I.A.S., Principal Secretary to Government, School Education Department, Fort St.George, Chennai - 9, (2) Mr.Arivozhi, Director of Elementary Education, College Road, Chennai - 6, (3) Mr.S.P.Karthikeyan, District Elementary Education Officer, Thiruvannamalai and (4) N.Govindarajan, Assistant Elementary Education Officer, (Now called as Block Education Officer), Jawadhu Union, Jamunamarathur, Polur Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, Polur (respondents 1 to 4 herein), have appeared before this Court. 2/4

3. Mrs.V.Yamunadevi, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the Government has produced the order of the Apex Court dated 24.02.2023 staying the operation of the order passed in W.A.No.253 of 2022 dated 06.04.2022.

In the aforestated circumstances, this Contempt Petitin is closed. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy depending upon the outcome of the matter pending before the Apex Court.
