ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 not to interfere with the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of his properties measuring a total extent of 3 acres 50 cents, comprised in S.No.19/2, situated at Vengalery Village, Alathur panchayat, Thiruporur, Chengelpet District.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 10.01.2007, the petitioner had purchased the abovesaid property from one T.Velayudham. In order to prove his vendor's ownership, the petitioner produced a copy of the possession certificate issued by the Village Administrative Officer in favour of his vendor. According to the petitioner, he is in possession of the said property since 10.01.2007, however, the respondents without following due process of law are taking attempts to acquire his property. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has also filed O.S.Nos.32 and 33 of 2008 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Thiruporur, seeking permanent injunction against private parties and the same is pending till date.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that the aforesaid land is classified as 'Natham Poramboke' and the same was handed over to the District Collector, Chengalpet on 01.10.2024 for the purpose of construction.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Though the petitioner claims that he has purchased the aforesaid property from his vendor vide sale deed dated 10.01.2007, taking note of the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that the said land is classified as 'Natham poramboke' and the same is in possession of the Government, the petitioner, at this distant point of time, cannot claim right or title over the said property without any valid proof or document, except production of the sale deed dated 10.01.2007.
7. In such circumstances, when the land in question is classified as 'Natham poramboke' and in the absence of any valid document to substantiate the possession of the said land by the petitioner, the relief sought by him cannot be granted.
