ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed, questioning the Show Cause Notice in Na.Ka.No.2687/A4/2022 issued by the District Social Welfare Officer, dated 21.11.2022.

2. The petitioner has been running a Senior Citizens' Home called Sai Sakthi Home at No.1, Kasthuri 3rd Street, New Lakshmipuram, Kolathur, Chennai 600 099.

3. To run the Senior Citizens' Home, the petitioner requires compliances and licences practically required from all statutory authorities. He has obtained only the fire license and the Stability Certificate. But there are other compliances which are required to be done. He has been running the home without necessary licenses. Naturally, the Show Cause Notice came to be issued. 2/4

4. I am not prepared to interfere at this particular stage. But I would only give a direction that the petitioner should reply to the Show Cause Notice. I am confident that the respondent would take appropriate action. The petitioner should come forward and place a reply to the Show Cause Notice, which should be done on or before 18.01.2023.

5. With the said observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No orders as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
