The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of I.A.No.3 of 2024 in H.M.O.P.No.5263 of 2021 on the file of the learned VII Additional Family Judge at Chennai.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 18.11.2024, I called for a report from the learned Trial Judge to state as to how long he requires to dispose of the said suit.

3. The learned VII Additional Principal Judge, VII Additional Family Court at Chennai has submitted a report stating that he took charge of that Court on 06.12.2024. The respondent/wife has not filed a counter so far. She has been set exparte and she has filed I.A.No.3 of 2024 to set aside the exparte order and the same is pending for enquiry on 24.12.2024. The report further states that as many as 1325 cases are pending and therefore, he requests four months time to dispose of the H.M.O.P.

4.Taking into consideration the report of the learned Trial Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned VII Additional Principal Judge, VII Additional Family Court at Chennai to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.5263 2/4

of 2021 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
