By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Liaison Officer in Annamalai University in the year 2007. Thereafter he was transferred to Directorate of Distance Education Study Centre, Kolkala on 24.04.2018. Thereafter the petitioner made several representations to the respondent for transferring him from Calcutta to Chidambaram. Accordingly the respondent by its order dated 23.10.2019, transferred him from Calcutta to Chidambaram. The said order was immediately cancelled on 05.11.2019. For revoking the cancellation order, the petitioner made a representation dated 06.11.2019, but the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

The petitioner has challenged the cancellation order dated 05.11.2019, but the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has limited the request to consider the representation of the petitioner. Therefore, considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without interfering with the cancellation order dated 05.11.2019, this Court directs the respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
