When the matter was listed on 23.12.2022, this Court suggested the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.10 lakhs to the credit of crime number, whereas, today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner instead of submitting his report, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the submissions and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
