ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass order on the Second Appeal dated 12.12.2016, preferred by the petitioner under the Section 19(3) of the Right to Information Act.

2. Though the petitioner has filed the Second Appeal against the order passed by the second respondent, the first respondent has not disposed of the same till date. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the fact that the appeal preferred by the petitioner is pending for the past 5 years, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the Appeal, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
