O R D E R

The petitioners are husband and wife and they have filed a petition in I.D.O.P.No.61 of 2025 on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Ranipet, under Section 10-A of the Indian Divorce Act, 1869, seeking for divorce on mutual consent. Subsequently, they have filed an application in 1/4

I.A.No.2 of 2025 in I.D.O.P.No.61 of 2025 under Section 10-A(2) of the Indian Divorce Act, 1869 and Section 151 of CPC to waive of the six months cooling - off period in I.D.O.P.No.61 of 2025. The Court below vide order dated 31.07.2025, dismissed the application by relying upon the Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.11158 of 2017 in Amardeep Singh vs. Harveen Kaur and stated that the parties have not taken efforts for mediation and conciliation to reunion. Aggrieved over same, the petitioners have preferred the present Civil Revision Petition.

Learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submits that the petitioners are willing to go for mediation and conciliation to settle their issue as guided by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Amardeep Singh's case and seeks permission from this Court to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh application after complying with the guidelines issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Amardeep Singh's case. He also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle.

3. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned 2/4

counsel for the petitioners, liberty is granted to file a fresh petition, after complying with the conditions stipulated by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Amardeep Singh's case.

4. In view of the above, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Considering the facts, there shall be no orders as to costs.
