The petitioners/A1 - A5 & A7 seek bail in Crime No.420 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 395 r/w 397 of IPC.

2.It is the case of the prosecution that totally 12 accused had entered into the house of the defacto complainant and had committed robbery of substantial amount of cash of Rs.13,00,000/- and also four mobile phones and also 25 sovereigns of gold. They had also threatened the defacto complainant.

3.It is stated that A1, A2 and A3 had been detained under Act 14 of 1982. Hence, bail application against A1, A2 and A3/petitioners 1 to 3 are dismissed.

4.In so far as the other petitioners are concerned, it is also stated that test identification parade was conducted and the defacto

complainant had identified A1, A2 and A3 and the son of the defacto complainant had identified A4, A5 and A7. They are the petitioners herein. Since there is direct overt act as against the petitioners herein, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
