ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent to survey the petitioner's property to an extent of 10 cents comprised in Survey Nos.187/3 and 188/7, Peelamedu village, Vanapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi

District.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the subject land is classified as "Paatai Poramboke" and the petitioner is a land encroacher.

4. In view of the above submission, the direction sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
