O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2019 and to dispose the same on merits an in accordance with law within a stipulated time. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was originally appointed as a clerk in the 2nd respondent Societies in the year 1983. Subsequently, he was promoted as Secretary and retired from the services on 31.07.2019. The 2nd respondent by his proceedings dated 31.07.2019 allowed the petitioner to retire from service on 31.07.2019. Thereafter, the petitioner received a letter from the 2nd respondent on 26.08.2019, cancelling the earlier proceedings dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
31.07.2019. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 22.08.2019 to the 2nd respondent, which is pending without any progress. The petitioner has worked in the 2nd respondent organisation for more than 30 years without any remarks and the terminal benefits of the petitioner has not been settled so far. Hence, this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.08.2019, within a reasonable time fixed by this Court to settle the terminal benefits of the petitioner. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would accede to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and submitted that if any such representation was received by the respondents, the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
5.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of petitioner dated 22.08.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
