Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to enquiries to the petitioners representation dated 12.08.2024 (Grievance Day Petition No.247) For Petitioner :

The petitioner seeks to have the error made in UDR corrected and had therefore made an application to the District Collector, Dharmapuri. Since the same was not processed, he has moved this 2/7

Writ Petition for mandamus.

2. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

3. The authority competent to consider the application for correcting the UDR entries is the District Revenue Officer. Therefore, the learned Special Government Pleader would submit that if an application is made to the District Revenue Officer, Dharmapuri, the same would be considered.

4. Considering the above, direction is issued to the petitioner to submit an application to the District Revenue Officer, Dharmapuri, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and within a period of 6 weeks therefrom, the District Revenue Officer, Dharmapuri, shall proceed to dispose of the application, after affording opportunity to the petitioner to submit his records. District Revenue Officer, Dharmapuri, shall pass speaking orders.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
