This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 204 days in filing the above revision.

2.This Court, by order dated 12.12.2023, directed the petitioner to deposit Rs.1,50,000/- by 20.12.2023 and the balance amount of Rs.1,00,000/- on or before 03.01.2024 to the credit of C.C.No.1878 of 2017. As rightly contended by the learned counsel for respondent that the petitioner was giving promises in air and it is only a dilatory tactics and he is doing this tactics from the initial stage, is confirmed by the attitude of the petitioner. Further it is seen that the trial Court as well as Lower Appellate Court convicted the petitioner and the petitioner suffered concurrent findings against him. The reasons given by the petitioner for not depositing the amount, is not sufficient. Hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

3.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the Criminal Revision Case is rejected at the SR stage itself. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Page 1/2
