ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct investigation in Cr.No.1 of 2016 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 23.09.2016 and consequently to file the final report within stipulated time in accordance with law.

2.No representation for the petitioner. The petition has been filed seeking to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.1 of 2016, against one S.Ganesan, Executive Officer, Vettavalam, Thiruvannamalai and A2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner sent a complaint earlier, when no action was taken, he moved before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2200 of 2016 and on the orders of this Court, FIR came to be registered. Though the FIR has been registered on 07.04.2016, the investigation yet to be completed and this delay has caused an apprehension in the minds of the petitioner.

3.It is further submitted Crime No.1 of 2016 had been registered at the instant of the petitioner, the informant in FIR shows that Deputy Superintendent of Polce, Vigilance and Anti -Corruption as informant.

The perusal of the FIR and the facts narrated herein refers to the petitioner and his complaint.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is some discripency in the claims misappropriated by the accused herein. As per the petitioner and documents collected, the petitioner despite being informed to appear and clarify, he failed to appear before the respondent.

Hence, the investigation could not be completed. She further submitted that in any event, the charge sheet would be filed within a period of two months. The petitioner is directed to cooperate with the investigation as and when summoned and called for. 5.With the above direction, this criminal Original petition stands disposed of.
