ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No. 92/2020 on the file of the respondent within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that on the basis of the complaint given by one Murugeswari, a case has been registered against the petitioner and four others alleging that the petitioner induced the defacto complainant and demanded Rs.70,00,000/- for securing a job for her and a sum of Rs.40,00,000/- had been given to A2 to A4. It is the contention of the petitioner that she had not committed any such offence since the whereabouts of A2 is not known, the petitioner has been implicated in this case. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the First Information Report has been registered in the year 2000, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, filed the present petition seeking aforesaid relief.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost completed and the respondent will file the final report within a period of four weeks.

4.
