Respondent(s) PRAYER This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in proceedings Na.Ka.No. /VPM TK PS/2025 dated 14.08.2025 and quash the same and permit to conduct the meeting scheduled to be given by way of fresh representation to the respondents and to pass such further or other orders.

ORDER
Challenging the rejection order passed by the second respondent on 14.08.2025 , the present writ petition has been filed.
2. The petitioner, being the organizer of "Puratchi Thamizhagam Katchi" for six districts, had submitted a representation to the second respondent seeking permission and police protection for conducting a District Level indoor meeting at Devibala Thirumana mandapam, Villupuram. However, without issuing show cause notice and without affording sufficient opportunity of hearing, the impugnd order has been passed, which is unsustainable and unwarranted and in violation of fundamental rights guaranteed under Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution of India.
3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that if the petitioner submits a fresh
representation seeking relocation of the function to another place at Cuddalore, the same will be considered.
4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the respondents indicating the relocation of the venue. Upon receipt of such representation, the respondents shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law .
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition (Crl.) disposed of. 03-09-2025 mrp To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Villupuram District.
